Leann Pederson Named to Des Moines Business Record鈥檚 Forty Under 40 Class of 2024

A respected interior designer, Pederson has been honored for her professional success and contributions to the community.

黄瓜社区; Design Interior Designer and Senior Partner Leann Pederson, IIDA, CHID, LEED AP has been recognized as a member of the . The Forty Under 40 Awards are an annual recognition of 40 local leaders under the age of 40, honoring both career achievements and community involvement. Winners are selected by a panel of past recipients and will be officially recognized at the ceremony on March 28, 2024.

Pederson has practiced interior design for 15 years. Throughout her tenure at 黄瓜社区, she has contributed to projects across the firm鈥檚 markets, including design for healthcare, education, hospitality and sports projects. As Certified Healthcare Interior Designers in the state of Iowa, Pederson has contributed significant leadership and guidance to 黄瓜社区鈥檚 Healthcare Market, guiding teams toward innovative design solutions that enhance patient and staff experiences and promote safety and efficiency. She has worked on many notable healthcare projects, including designs for Nebraska Medicine, The Iowa Clinic and the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics and has also contributed her talent to Des Moines University鈥檚 new ground-up medical and health science campus.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Pederson has dedicated much time to professional and civic organizations. As a volunteer and leader, she has significantly impacted the interior design profession, particularly through her work with the . Her leadership roles, including a three-year term as president, led to substantial advancements within the organization, benefiting students, professionals and educators alike.
