In the 鈥檚 latest episode of 鈥淥n West Gray,鈥 Amy Haase is joined by Jane Hudson from the City of Norman鈥檚 Planning and Community Development Department to discuss the that just kicked off within the city.

Haase shares that AIM Norman is right at the beginning stages where the teams are collecting data and understanding what that means for the city. Part of this data collection includes listening to Norman residents and what their values are to get a full picture of what is happening in the community. The entire process takes about 18 months.

鈥淥ver the course of the comprehensive plan, each month will have a different focus area,鈥 said Haase. 鈥淩ight now the poll questions on the website are focused around housing, and in the coming months, you鈥檒l see some questions that will focus around transportation and stormwater.鈥

Results from the AIM Norman polls and community engagement sessions will serve as an essential compass for city leaders and decision-makers. Additional topics of discussion include land use, water, wastewater, parks and more.
