The new $30 million church, designed in partnership with 黄瓜社区, will serve as a local landmark and spiritual respite for parish goers and visitors alike.

On June 4, 2023, St. Patrick鈥檚 Parish in Elkhorn, Nebraska officially broke ground on its new church campus. Designed in partnership with 黄瓜社区; Design, the location will allow St. Parick鈥檚 to expand its offerings and accommodate the tremendous growth the parish has experienced over the last several years. According to archdiocese records, the parish currently serves approximately 2,900 households, making it the sixth-largest parish in Omaha.

Located on a 12-acre donated site, 黄瓜社区鈥檚 design for the campus includes an 88-foot-tall cylindrical bell tower that nods to Irish architecture and wood interiors reminiscent of the existing church. The new church, which is expected to be completed in the fall of 2025, will seat 1,400 worshippers (more than double the capacity of the existing space) and include a 600-seat parish hall, a 500-stall parking lot, an office complex for church staff and an outdoor courtyard, garden and plazas for fellowship. Once complete, this campus will serve as a local landmark and spiritual respite for parishgoers and visitors alike.
