The Enclave at Shell Point Retirement Community is the third phase of the Community's independent living unit expansion, adding 35 new homes to the 73 homes in the adjacent Estuary Subdivision.
The Enclave design began in August 2018. Following the Master Plan guideline for the Estuary, which employed components of Old Florida style vernacular architecture, The Enclave's design elements include covered front entry porches, rear Lanai outdoor spaces, metal roofing, window, door and trim detailing and roof dormers and cupolas. The subdivision layout over approximately 20 acres nestled the 9 single-family ‘Signature Homes' and 26 ‘Twin Villas' along a curved, private, partially boulevard-ed cul-de-sac road. Home views were developed to take advantage of the greens and fairways of the community's 18 hole golf course. The project design also included a 3,332 SF Community Building, resort/lap pool and outdoor spa, private In-Community and US Mail boxes, a flagpole court, an electric car charging station, extensive commons landscaping and finally a monument sign with wayfinding at a main entry gate which provides private security access from each home.
