Center
This project replaces the former CCRB which was built in 1954 and expanded in 1977. Campus recreation needs and priorities have changed since then, and the new facility was designed with contemporary and future students in mind.
The replacement for the CCRB is placed on the same site as the former building and enjoys the benefits of an existing high-traffic pedestrian way, which at times serves nearly 40% of the total campus student population, daily. The collection of spaces in the new Hadley Family Recreation & Well-Being Center is intentionally well-rounded. The facility has high transparency and visual interest, providing a feeling of activation with a WOW factor. Designed in collaboration with Integrated Design Solutions.
